Lino M. Olopai, Vice President of the Inetnon Ã…mot Natibu/Ammwelil Safeyal Faluwasch, addresses the audience on "The Benefits of Native Medicine." Mr. Olopai noted that it was symbolic that the Native Medicine Symposium is held at the Tinian Youth Center because it is the Youth who is the next stakeholder to hold the responsibility to make sure that our traditional healers are made part of our public health services. Mr. Olopai questioned why are our traditional healers not part of our public health services when culturally they have demonstrated to be effective healers.
