Director of Office on Aging, Howard Macaranas delivers his address. He welcomed the participants to the Manamko Center (saying this is also your future home) and he was also speaking on behalf of the Secretary for Community and Cultural Affairs, Mr. Melvin Faisao.  Mr. Macaranas talked about the herbal garden that he established at the Manamko Center. He commented that he was happy to now also partner with the Inetnon Åmot Natibu/Ammwelil Safeyal Faluwasch. He hopes that future directors of the Office on Aging will carry on the herbal garden as a way to protect medicinal plants and for educational purposes for our island residents and visitors alike.
