The Inetnon Amot yan Kutturan Natibu/Mwiischil Safey me Kkoor Aramasal Faluw is offering free classes to all Chamorros and Carolinians on traditional rope making using hibicus and coconut fibers on Saturday, June 25, 2011. This Saturday is also the last Saturday for banana print and mwar making.

Classes start at 9 a.m. and end around noontime. Classes are offered at the Saipan Chamorro-Carolinian Village Cultural Centers Headquarters at 1213 Capitol Hill Rd. which is across from the CNMI Workforce Investment Agency (WIA) and next to the CNMI Board of Parole Office.

The classes are offered by the Association of Native Medicine and Culture, in partnership with the Indigineous Affairs Office, and funded in part by the Administration for Native Americans. For more information, please call 322-0278.
